Deze Samsung-tablet is in staat om HD-content (1080p) weer te geven. De Galaxy Tab 10.1v heeft een NVIDIA Tegra 2 (dual-core) processor met een snelheid van 1 gigahertz. Deze tabletpc van Samsung heeft 16 GB of 32 GB geheugen, afhankelijk van het model dat je koopt. Met een SD-kaart kun je het geheugen uitbreiden tot maximaal 32 GB extra geheugen. Deze Samsung-tablet beschikt over WiFi en 3G om verbinding te maken met Internet. Ook kun je gebruik maken van Bluetooth of een USB 2.0-connectie om een verbinding te maken met externe apparatuur. Met Samsung’s A-GPS en de applicatie Google Navigatie heb je direct een gratis turn-by-turn navigatiesysteem. The ocean — it is the most prominent feature on Earth, and of immeasurable importance to life on the planet. But what would it look like if all of the water was drained out of it? Mountains and valleys that dwarf Everest; shifting plates and undersea volcanoes; seams, ripples, and plains. Though ships have mapped only a small portion of the ocean floor, satellites are used to generate incredibly details maps of the bottom of the ocean. By sensing the minute gravitational changes that pull, push, and bulge the ocean surface, the bottom’s shape can be inferred from space. These bathymetric maps reveal the incredibly dynamic terrain of the ocean. Where available, ship-based measurements are included to provide even higher detail. This visualization tours the ocean floor from the gentle continental slopes to the deepest trenches using data analyzed and archived by NOAA. Does it look familiar? It is actually the same data that Google has incorporated into Google Earth and Ocean.

Um mergulho na diversidade da fauna marinha brasileira através do Google Maps: essa é a proposta da nova fase do site Biomapas (www.petrobras.com.br ). Agora é possível acessar um mapa com mais de 100 pontos e 16 diferentes espécies de golfinhos, baleias, botos e tartarugas. A publicação é resultado de expedições científicas feitas pela empresa em parceria com institutos de pesquisa. O site também mostra fotos e vídeos sobre fauna, expedições e projetos ambientais de preservação de biodiversidade marinha ao longo da costa brasileira, com patrocínio da Petrobras. Voltado para estudantes e interessados, em geral, na biodiversidade brasileira, o projeto Biomapas foi iniciado em abril de 2010, por meio de parceria entre a Petrobras eo Google. Na primeira fase, apresentou espécies da flora da região de Urucu, na Amazônia, onde a Petrobras tem uma base de produção e realiza pesquisas sobre fauna e flora locais. O projeto também conta com um aplicativo de álbum no Facebook, no qual os usuários podem conhecer mais sobre a biodiversidade, colecionando e trocando figurinhas das espécies do Biomapas – apps.facebook.com .
Make your G1or Mytouch 3G feel like a Nexus One! Okay… Maybe that was going too far. LOL But this WILL make your G1 feel BETTER than new. As always, you will need root in order to flash custom ROMs. ESPECIALLY custom Spanish ones =p Now, I didn’t believe the hype surrounding this ROM. I too was an unbeliever. You always hear of new developers touting their ROMs as the fastest or how some kid made a ROM that can cook you a hotpocket in 30 seconds flat. Well, I am pleased to say that I was wrong with this ROM. This ROM comes to you courtesy of Spain and well known developer Super@tmel from HTCMania. I don’t know what that guy put in his bowl of “Kernel Flakes” but this really is the fastest ROM I have yet to experience. Being a flash junkie myself, I have been around the ROM block and can honestly say this is not placebo. Linpack alone can support my claim and even when it doesn’t, this ROM is still faster than even those with JIT Hacks, RAM Hacks and flap jacks. This ROM has NO RAM hack which makes it GREAT for 3D gaming. =) My only comlaint is that I wish some devs and themers would give this ROM a little bit of love. Its definitely an eyesore and it would be nice to see this packed up with a reboot option and some new features/apps.
